Injured Women Recover

On a recent tuesday, I met with three female clients in a row. I settled each of their cases and had each of them come in to sign releases and pick up checks. Their cases were all and settled between $15,000.00 and $30,000.00. In two of the three cases, we had filed suit in order to push the case to get the maximum recovery. I was able to settle one of the cases before suit. Naomi, Megan, and Vonda are all great ladies.

It struck me today how hard women work. Each of these women are supporting, raising and parenting their children. Each of them work full time jobs and are the main financial supporters of their families. Each of them is challenged with raising their children, working and taking care of themselves and their families. Although we got great settlements for each of them, the toll a car accident takes on women such as them is more than the usual and it’s hard to fully compensate them for the stress and inconvenience of this type of a car crash. When your life is full for 18 hours a day with working, cooking, cleaning, raising kids, transporting, nurturing and taking care of a house, it’s hard to find time to get a car repaired, go to doctor’s visits, and take care of yourself. As caretakers, mostly women (and many men also) take care of everybody else first and themselves last. It’s hard to take the time to take care of yourself- let alone take care of yourself when you are injured or involved in a car crash.

So, many thanks to Naomi, Megan, and Vonda for entrusting their cases to me and enabling me to get them good recoveries. I am humbled that I get to represent such strong women and take their trust in me seriously. Thanks ladies and keep up the good work.
