In Missouri, an employment discrimination complaint must be filed with Missouri Commission on Human Rights within 180 days from the last date of discrimination. If it is an employment situation that happened more than 180 days ago but less than 300, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) can investigate your complaint. If it is a housing situation that occurred more than 180 days ago but less than 365, the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) can investigate.
With these deadlines in mind, it’s important to act quickly if you feel you have been discriminated against by your employer. Failure to do so could result in loss of your claim. Contact Burger Law today for your free case evaluation.
