$2.5 Million Wrongful Death Settlement For Daughters of Fatal Car Accident Victim
Gary Burger of Burger Law was featured in the publication Missouri Lawyers Weekly for a Missouri personal injury case.
In the case, the victim was driving northbound on the highway when the defendant, traveling south, lost control and suddenly swerved into the victim's lane. The defendant had THC in his system after the accident according to the police report, and he was attempting to light a cigarette when he lost control. The data from the defendant's vehicle gives no indication that he attempted to brake or swerve out of the way to avoid a collision with the victim.
Gary Burger and Burger Law represented the daughters of the man who lost his life in the high-speed car accident collision. We worked to thoroughly demonstrate the other driver's negligence in addition to his employer's negligence in hiring and training. Car accident and wrongful death lawyer Gary Burger successfully negotiated a pleasing 2.5 million dollar settlement for the daughters of the decedent.
