Attorney Michael Sheldon is a bright young lawyer who takes pride in vigorously representing his clients and helping them obtain great results. He began his career with Burger Law as a law clerk in 2019 while working towards his law degree. As a law clerk, he gained invaluable experience working on personal injury, product liability and class action cases. He earned his Juris Doctor degree from Saint Louis University School of Law in 2 and ½ years, graduating cum laude in 2020. While in law school, he was a member of the SLU LawJournal and ranked near the top of his class in Civil Procedure, Torts and Insurance Law.

Michael received his Missouri law license in 2021 and has been practicing as an injury attorney with Burger Law ever since. He focuses his practice on personal injury, product liability, premises liability, dog bite, medical malpractice and workers’ compensation cases. In his short time as a licensed attorney, he has successfully tried multiple bench trials and has negotiated countless big settlements for his clients. He is passionate about advocating for the injured and helping his clients get full compensation for their injuries while also getting a sense of justice.

Michael was born and raised in New Jersey and moved to Illinois when he was nine years old. His legal experience predates law school, as he received his Bachelor’s degree in legal studies from Illinois State University, where he graduated summa cum laude in 2018. While attending ISU, Michael also worked as a paralegal for a large insurance company and a criminal defense firm. Since moving to St. Louis in 2018, Michael has grown to love this community and all it has to offer. When he is not working, Michael enjoys spending time outdoors hiking, camping and kayaking, playing golf, watching baseball and seeing his favorite artists live in concert.
