A three-hour CLE will be hosted by Burger Law on May 29 at the firm’s building on North Broadway. Gary Burger, Robert Cohen, Debbie Champion, and Michael Downey will be presenting at the event.
All attendees will receive three hours of credit for CLE and one hour of ethics credit. The money raised from the event’s registration will be donated to the Legal Services of Eastern Missouri.
We will also record the presentations and use them as podcast segments on Lawyer v. Lawyer.
Cohen will serve as a judge in the first hour of presentations as Champion and Burger argue Motions to Compel. Memoranda, motions, and case law will be provided for this portion of the event.
Champion and Burger will spend the second hour of the day discussing their individual Top 10 Trial Tips. They will cover voire dire, opening, testimony, demonstrative, evidence, instructions, and closing. Together, the two have more than 50 years of combined trial experience.
In the final hour of the event Downey will teach attendees questions and answers surrounding ethics that are most often found in litigation involving injuries. After all the presentations are complete there will be a question and answer session with the presenters.
This will be a great opportunity to improve your practice and hone your practice.
