(314) 500-HURTOn June 2nd, we had the honor of presenting our community service award, the Bikes for Kids Award, to our winner Vera!
Vera is a dedicated member of our community who puts service at the front of her mind. She demonstrates this admirable
service-oriented mind-set every day when she helps special needs kids in school and after. Vera helps these students get
home from the bus after school. Beyond this, Vera is also fighting for social justice in school everyday by challenging
stereotypes around special needs students and working to integrate these students into the larger school
community.
Below is a video showing Vera’s excitement and surprise when she found out she was the winner of the Bikes for Kids
competition.
Bikes for Kids highlights Burger Law’s commitment to shed a light on community members who are making a difference every
day, even if they are just kids! We look forward to continuing this important action of highlighting great members of
our community. Additionally, if you would like to nominate a deserving child for the Bikes for Kids Competition, the
